Mr. Greg Heideman is the Principal of Lone Star Middle School and has been a part of the administrative team since its opening in 2008 as the Vice Principal. In 2012, Greg was recognized as the 2011-2012 Outstanding Assistant Principal for the state of Idaho by the IASA/NASSP. Greg began his career in education at Robert Stuart Jr. High in Twin Falls, Idaho after earning a Bachelor’s in Business Education. In 2007, he was awarded a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho and began his career at Lone Star Middle School. In 2005, Greg and his family moved back to Nampa, where he taught computers/technology at Nampa High School and coached softball. Greg and his wife Joy have two children and are active within the community.
Ryan Curry -- Vice Principal Email him
After 22 years as a classroom language arts teacher, Mr. Curry begins his first administrative job as Vice Principal at Lone Star Middle School. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Chico, Mr. Curry spent one year abroad before returning to complete his secondary teaching credential at California State University, Sacramento. After 15 years of teaching in California, the Currys moved to Meridian where Mr. Curry taught for 7 years in the Meridian School District. In 2011 Mr. Curry received his Master of Science: Educational Administration from the University of Scranton, and soon after began his quest for an administrative position.During his tenure in education, Mr. Curry has fulfilled many educational positions and leadership roles. He is excited to begin his new role as VP and looks forward to the challenges and opportunities that come with it.Mr. Curry has been married for 10 years, and he and his wife, Kari, have three children.
