Lone Star Band & Orchestra
Use this website to find the student handbook, music calendar, private instructors, and music resources for each ensemble.
The Lone Star Bands and Orchestras have a long history of excellence. We strive to prepare students to be life long learners and musicians. At Lone Star, we encourage our students to go further with their critical thinking skills, engagement in their ensembles, build lasting relationships, and most importantly, to respect each other. By the end of their 8th-grade year, instrumental students are generally expected to master the basics of music: tone, pitch, breath, articulation, and the very basics of music theory.
