Welcome to 7.1 Mathematics!!! On this page you will find a little bit of information about who I am and what my background is. On this website you will find links to homework assignments, links to the slide shows used which include the notes and the practice problems done in class. I will be updating the calendar weekly with the class schedule. Feel free to e-mail me with any additional questions you may have.
This is my first year teaching at Lone Star Middle School. I am so excited to be part of this amazing community! I grew up in Kuna, Idaho where I still live with my husband and children. I graduated from Boise State University with my Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics and am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Mathematical Education. I have 6 older siblings, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. I love spending time with my friends and family, hiking, camping, and creating memories. I love having the privilege to teach students the joy of mathematics. Middle school is such an influential time in life, and I hope to be a positive part of students lives to create life long learners and critical thinkers.
