These assignments will include taking photos, submitting photos on time, cropping and editing photos for the publication, and designing layouts. They will learn to work as a team, brainstorm ideas, keep track of multiple tasks, and act as editors for each other.
Students will participate in warm-up tasks, assignments, and quizzes to evaluate their skills, and be graded upon their successful completion and meeting deadlines. Late work for grading will be accepted up to 1 week after deadline, HOWEVER, Yearbook students will be expected to meet publication deadlines in January and March. This level of responsibility and professionalism is critical to the overall publication of the Yearbook.
