Student-led conferences will be held in-person at Lone Star Middle School during the following dates and times. We invite all students and their parents/guardians to attend. The format is “drop-in” so you may choose the date and time that works best for you.
- Wednesday, November 2 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
- Thursday, November 3 NO SCHOOL and conferences from 8:00-11:00 a.m., 12:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m.
- Friday, November 4 NO SCHOOL
The purpose of a student-led conference is to provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate responsibility for their learning and share their progress in classes. Students will have a portfolio to show you that contains artifacts from each of their classes. These conferences will take place in person in the your student’s advisory classroom and teachers will be available if you have questions. Please note that students should bring their school-issued laptops with them as some artifacts may be digital. We look forward to seeing you!
