Mrs. Sprague

Hi! My name is Mrs. Sprague, and I have been at Lone Star since 2013. I grew up in the Treasure Valley and earned a degree in chemistry from College of Idaho back when they were Albertson College. I went back to school to get my teaching credentials at Northwest Nazarene University after realizing that middle school science was indeed the place for me. I live with my husband and our son, Elliot, in Boise. Elliot is obsessed with all things related to animals (especially creatures like octopuses, snakes, bats, and other less traditionally lovable species), so I spend a lot of time learning about biology with him outside of school. I adore reading, coffee, music on vinyl, Guru Donuts on Saturday mornings, the farmers' market, keeping a mini jungle of houseplants alive, pool time with my little fish, singing along poorly to Hamilton, and working with middle schoolers. I'm so happy to have you here.
