Welcome to our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Mathematics) Focus School.

Focus schools are schools that teach the curriculum through a specific lens to enhance student learning. As a focus school, we teach to the same standards and are held to the same requirements as traditional programs, while enhancing the curriculum through our specific focus. 

Lone Star Middle School is focused on empowering learners to develop confidence, embrace diversity, and foster smooth transitions for success. As an HP Spotlight School, students and staff are encouraged to take thoughtful risks, problem-solve, collaborate, and engage in critical thinking. 

Students are immersed in concepts integrating STEAM. Through this lens, student learning is personalized with experiential and hands-on opportunities, both in the classroom and within our innovative Learning Studios.
